Ab Oriente venerunt magi 
in Bethlehem adorare Dominum;
et apertis thesauris suis 
pretiosa munera obtulerunt:
Aurum sicut regi magno;
Thus sicut Deo vero,
Myrrham sepulturae ejus.

English translation:
From the East the Magi came
to Bethlehem to adore the Lord;
and opening up their treasureboxes,
they offered precious gifts:
gold for the great King,
frankincense for the true God,
myrrh to foretell his burial.
Alleluia.
