Crux fidelis inter omnes arbor una nobilis,
Nulla silva talem profert fronde, germine:
Dulce lignum dulces clavos, dulce pondus sustinet.
Pange lingua gloriosi lauream certaminis,
Et super cruces trophaeo dic triumphum nobilem:
Qualiter Redemptor orbis immolatus vincerit.
Sempiterna sit Beatae Trinitati Gloria:
Aequa Patri Filioque, par decus Paraclito.
Unius Trinique nomen laudet universitas.

Translation:
Faithful cross, the one noble tree surpassing all others;
no forest offers comparable foliage or seed.
Your sweet wood bears sweet nails, and a sweet weight.
Sing, my tongue, the crowning garland of the glorious conflict,
and proclaim about the trophy of the cross the noble triumph
which the Redeemer of the world won, offered in sacrifice.
Everlasting glory be to the Blessed Trinity:
Equally to Father and Son, equally to the Paraclete.
Let all creation praise the name of the One and Three.
