Angelus ad virginem Sub intrans in conclave, Virginis formidinem Demulcens, in quit, "Ave! Ave regina virginum; Coeli terrae que Dominum Concipies et paries Intacta Salutem hominum Tu porta coeli facta, Medela criminum."

"Quomodo conciperem Quae virum non cognovi? Qualiter in fringerem Quod firmamente vovi?" "Spiritus Sancti gratia Perfici et haec omnia; Ne timeas, Sed gaudeas, Secura Quod castimoni Manebit in te pura Dei potentia."

Ad haec virgo nobislis Respondens in quit ei: “Ancilla sum humilis Omnipotentis Dei. Tibi coelesti nuntio, Tanti secreti conscio, Consentiens, Et cupiens Videre Factum quod audio; Parata sum parere, Dei consilio.”

Eia mater Domini, Quae pacem rededisti
Angelis et homini, Cum Christum genuisti; Tuum exora filium Ut se nobis propitium Exhibeat, Et deleat Peccata: Praestans auxilium Vita frui beata Post hoc exilium. Deo Gratias!

Translation:
The angel to a virgin came, and entered at her dwelling, With his salutation glad her maiden dispelling, “All hail, O Queen of virgins bright! God, Lord of earth and heaven’s height Your very son, shall soon be born in purity, The Savior of humanity. You are the gate of heaven bright The sinner’s healer kind.

“How could I a mother be that am to a man a stranger? How should I my strong resolve, my solemn vow endanger?

”Power from the  Holy Spirit on high Shall bring to pass this mystery. Then have no fear; be of good cheer, Believing still your chastity In God’s almighty keeping shall unbroken be.”

Then to him the maid replied, with noble words supernal, “Lo! The humble handmaid I of God the Lord eternal! With you, bright messenger of heaven, Through whom this wondrous news is given, I now agree and long to see Fulfilled your gracious prophecy. As God, my Lord, does will, so be it unto me!” Deo gratias!
