Cantate Domino canticum novum, 
laus eius in ecclesia sanctorum.
Laetetur Israel in eo qui fecit eum,
et filiae Sion exultent in rege suo.
Laudent nomen ejus in tympano et choro,
in psalterio psalant ei.

English translation:
Sing to the Lord a new song,
His praise in the assembly of the saints.
Let Israel rejoice in him who made them,
Let the daughters of Zion rejoice in their king.
Let them praise his name with timbrel and dance,
Let them sing to him in songs of praise.
