Virgo Deum et hominem genuit
pacem Deus reddidit
in se, reconcilians imo sumis.
Alleluia.

English translation:
The rod of Jesse blossoms:
a virgin brings forth One who is both God and man.
God restores peace to man,
reconciling the lowest with the highest in Himself.
Alleluia.
